The iPhone companion to RefreshYourMac. It finds the photos and videos you don't need, shows how much each clean-up would free, and removes nothing until you confirm. Everything is analysed on your iPhone. Free to scan and try; one payment of $9.99 unlocks everything, for good.

What it finds

  • Exact duplicates — identical copies, matched by their content.
  • Similar photos — bursts and near-identical shots. It suggests the best one by sharpness, exposure, faces and favourites; keep as many as you like, and compare them full screen with zoom.
  • Blurry photos — out-of-focus and shaken shots, as suggestions to review, never selected for you unless they are clearly blurred.
  • Old screenshots — grouped by month and filtered by age.
  • Large videos — largest first, with a preview.
  • Duplicate and large files — in folders you choose in the Files app.

Shrink instead of delete

  • Video compression — three quality settings and a size estimate before you start. On iOS 26 it carries on when you leave the app.
  • Live Photos — keep the picture and drop the short video that roughly doubles its size.
  • Move videos to iCloud Drive — a copy goes to a RefreshMyPhone folder in your iCloud Drive, and the space on your iPhone is freed once iCloud confirms the upload.

Copies keep the original's date, place, favourite and albums. The original stays until you choose to remove it.

Settings that save space by themselves

iOS can keep storage down on its own, and the settings that do it are easy to miss: the camera format, the video resolution, Live Photos, Optimise iPhone Storage, how long Messages keeps attachments. RefreshMyPhone shows where each one is and, where your library can tell, how much it would have saved. Safe by design

  • Every clean-up has a review screen, and iOS asks you to confirm.
  • Deleted photos and videos go to Recently Deleted for 30 days, so a mistake can be undone.
  • Favourites and recent photos are protected by default.
  • Your photos are analysed on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and there are no adverts. Privacy policy.

What no iPhone app can do

iOS keeps every app sealed off from the others, so no app on the App Store — this one included — can clear another app's cache, remove "junk files", empty System Data, free memory or speed up your iPhone. Apps that claim to are describing something they cannot do. RefreshMyPhone works on what an app is allowed to reach — your photos, videos and the folders you choose — and tells you how to deal with the rest yourself.

A single purchase of $9.99 unlocks everything else, for good: no subscription, no adverts, and Family Sharing is supported. Prices in other currencies are set by the App Store.
